Fly wardrobes

Moretti Compact 's Fly wardrobes stand out for their innovative design concept: a patented suspended system that redefines the role of the wardrobe within the bedroom.

Rising from the ground, Fly visually lightens the environment, increases the perception of space and gives the composition a strong contemporary architectural impact.

Among the main strengths are:

  • Visual lightness: the absence of supports on the floor creates a “floating” effect that makes the room feel more airy and modern.
  • Patented suspended system: a distinctive technical solution that transforms a traditionally bulky element into an elegant and dynamic presence.
  • Greater perception of space: the free base promotes visual continuity, brightness and a general feeling of openness.
  • Contemporary and emotional design: Fly is not just storage, but an architectural element capable of characterizing the entire room.
  • Compositional versatility: linear, bridge or corner configurations allow you to adapt to multifunctional rooms and different growth needs.
  • Scenographic effect: the contrast between large volumes and suspension generates a strong, almost “immaterial” aesthetic impact.
  • Space optimization: corner and bridge solutions make the most of the available walls, increasing storage capacity.
  • Evolution of children's furniture: Fly accompanies growth with a style capable of communicating with both the infantile universe and more mature and sophisticated environments.
  • Design freedom: the wardrobe becomes an active part of the room's architecture, integrating with mezzanines, study areas, and multi-level compositions.
  • Aesthetic research in the details: finishes, contrasting lacquered grooves and colour combinations contribute to strengthening the distinctive character of the system.

The structure that makes Fly possible

The Fly system by Moretti Compact represents a technical evolution of the traditional wardrobe, developed to achieve a secure, stable, and visually light suspended effect. The supporting structure consists of a continuous base composed of multiple elements assembled together and secured to the wall with special metal support plates. The plates are anchored directly to the wall and connected by cross brackets that join the front and rear bars of the structure.

The entire system is then closed at the top by a finishing panel that completely conceals the structural metal elements and creates the technical plane onto which the fittings for the various internal partitions are fixed. The side panels are connected to the structural bars using "Assembly System" joints , ensuring solidity and assembly precision.

At the top, the sides are anchored to the wall using expansion bolts on L-shaped brackets, designed to increase the overall stability of the suspended structure. The internal partitions are fixed to the base panel using pin assemblies with a barrel and bolts, ensuring structural strength and continuity with the construction systems used in traditional wardrobes.

Both the wall plates and the “L” brackets have dedicated adjustments that allow you to compensate for any horizontal or vertical out-of-squareness of the wall , facilitating the correct alignment of the composition even in the presence of walls that are not perfectly flat.

Once the suspended structure is completed, the remaining assembly of the wardrobe follows the same construction logic as a traditional floor-standing wardrobe , maintaining unchanged standards of solidity, functionality and modularity.
