CONVENTIONAL PRODUCT WARRANTY

Duration and conditions of validity of the warranty

The following conditions, relating to the Conventional Warranty, are activated automatically starting from the delivery date and last for 24 months.

This product is guaranteed by Moretti Compact ( Moretti Italian Design SpA) for defects resulting from the manufacturing process that may occur within 24 months from the date of delivery of the product. To benefit from the warranty, the following points must be met:

The delivery date must be proven by a document issued by the Seller or by another supporting document (e.g. receipt) that reports the name of the Seller, the date of delivery of the product, and the identifying details of the same (type and model).
All installation and assembly operations of the furniture must be carried out scrupulously following the instructions given in the "assembly diagrams" documentation attached to the product itself.
All operations involving the use of the product, as well as maintenance, must be carried out according to the instructions and indications given in the "Product Identity Booklet".
Any repair work must be carried out by Moretti Compact sales point personnel and only original spare parts must be used.
The 10-year warranty extension is valid exclusively in Italy (including Vatican City and the Republic of San Marino) through the Moretti Compact sales network.
The 10-year warranty extension is not applicable to items NOT produced by us, such as chairs, duvet cover sets, upholstered beds, lamps, bed bases and products from displays in shops or fairs.
To access the warranty service, you must contact the retailer where the product was purchased.
The conventional product warranty covers the furniture in all its components.

The guarantee is valid only in cases where the defects in the goods significantly exceed the normal limits of tolerance.

The Consumer will lose the rights under the conventional guarantee if he does not report the lack of conformity within 60 days of discovering it.

Warranty Specifications

Natural or slight variations in color or edges are within the tolerance limits permitted by law. Variations due to prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or treatment with unsuitable detergents are not covered by the warranty.
All installation and assembly operations of the furniture must be carried out by scrupulously following the instructions given in the "assembly diagrams" documentation attached to the product itself.
Metal accessories, components and mechanisms are only guaranteed if used appropriately for their function.
The guarantee is valid only in cases where the defects in the goods significantly exceed the normal limits of tolerance.
The validity of the warranty on products from displays in shops or fairs is calculated from the manufacturing date.

Warranty Disclaimers

This product warranty does not cover interventions and/or repairs and/or any spare parts that may be defective due to:

Normal wear and tear.
Failure to follow the maintenance and cleaning instructions in the supplied booklet.
Negligence and carelessness in use.
Incorrect installation.
Outdoor installation.
Contact with water and liquids in general.
Maintenance or repairs carried out by unauthorized persons and/or use of non-original spare parts.
Damage during transport, or damage caused by circumstances and/or events caused by force majeure which, however, cannot be traced back to manufacturing defects of the product.

Limitations of the Manufacturer's Liability

Moretti Compact ( Moretti Italian Design SpA) declines all responsibility for any damage that may, directly or indirectly, arise to people, things or animals as a result of failure to comply with all the instructions indicated in the relevant documentation and especially those regarding installation, use and maintenance.

Commitment to remedy the defect

During the warranty period, if the product is found to be non-compliant due to manufacturing defects (at the sole discretion of Moretti Compact ( Moretti Italian Design SpA)), the Company undertakes to eliminate the defect by repairing or replacing the individual defective component, contacting the retailer where the product was purchased. The material will be delivered free to the retailer.

10-year WARRANTY extension

(valid only for Italian territory)

Moretti Compact offers the option of extending the warranty period from 2 to 10 years from the date of manufacture. This warranty extension is valid only in Italy (including the Vatican City and the Republic of San Marino).

Replacement material will be supplied free to the dealer. However, unlike the conventional warranty, under the extended warranty, the dealer/repairer will be entitled to a right of exit and labor.

The 10-year warranty extension does not apply to items NOT produced by us, such as chairs, duvet cover sets, upholstered beds, lamps, bed bases and products from displays in shops or at fairs.

To activate the extended warranty, you must register your product at productregistration.htm by entering the product's identification data and completing the appropriate form . Note: After registration, print and retain the extended warranty coupon.
